Ohio Northern University’s (CCE), the region’s first-of-its-kind resource for professional training and leadership growth, has opened enrollment for its numerous programs, which provide practical approaches with immediate applications.

This inaugural CCE professional development series, offered this fall, includes single and multi-day programs designed to give employees and their employers the necessary tools to achieve professional success, career advancement, cultural enhancement, higher ROI and other crucial competitive advantages.

“We spent the past eight months listening to what individuals and companies want and need in the way of professional development,” said CCE Director Carol Turchick. “With recognized commitment to education excellence and a history of developing prominent leaders, 91ֱis positioned to be the right partner in this space.” she says. “The open enrollment format provides an opportunity for people from all industries and from all size of companies to learn in a very experiential way and create a wider professional network.”

Practitioners with real-world experience and expertise are facilitating the programs.

“There are many unique business challenges today from manager soft skill development, to better business acumen, to making good business decisions, to leaders having the resources they need to meet goals and objectives. Turchick says. “Our facilitators have the experience and the ability to deliver practical and applicable tools to create impactful outcomes.”

The open enrollment programs are held at The Inn at 91ֱbeginning in late September and running until early December. Along with gaining valuable practical and applicable professional skills, participants have opportunities to earn micro-credentials, and multiple courses offer continuing education units and certificates. A continental breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fee.

A total of 18 fall programs will include programs such as:

· Excellence in Business Communication Certificate
· Business Storytelling Presentation Skills
· Business Analytics – Metrics that Matter
· Social Media Strategy for Smaller Businesses
· Building Trust in the Workplace

One-day programs are $600 per participant and two-day certificate courses are $1,200 per participant. Discounts are available for bundling courses, groups, 91ֱalumni and military, government and non-profit organizations.

Programs can also be customized for individual business and industry need, and can be offered in-house at enrolled businesses.
