Featuring the theme, ā€œTogether We ROAR,ā€ this yearā€™s Ohio Northern University 91Ö±²„coming Weekend, planned for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27 and 28, will feature several campus events and a parade through downtown Ada.

The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday on Main Street. DavidĢżHileman, BSPh ā€™86, BSBA ā€™87, and Melinda (Durbin) Hileman, BA ā€™87, will serve as grand marshals. The Hilemans are longtime University supporters who have contributed their knowledge and resources in numerous ways. Most recently, they became the lead donors for the Durbin Hileman Softball Stadium, now under construction in the DiBiasio Athletics Complex and expected to open for the Spring ā€™23 softball season.

Other 91Ö±²„coming Weekend events for the public to enjoy will include:

  • University Singers 91Ö±²„coming Concert. The free concert will be held in Presser Hallā€™s Snyder Recital Hall on Friday at 7 p.m.
  • 91Ö±²„HealthWise Mobile Clinic tours. On Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the Activities Tent in King-Horn Sports Centerā€™s parking lot, visitors can hear more about the impact 91Ö±²„is making on the larger community, particularly the rural underserved community.
  • Sean McConnor exhibit. McConnorā€™s paintings, featuring still life and seascapes, can be viewed for free in the Elzay Gallery of Art on Saturday from 1-4 p.m.
  • 91Ö±²„vs. Marietta football game. The game will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dial-Roberson Stadium. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
  • 91Ö±²„Chamber Orchestra concert. The concert, highlighting 100 years of American music, from 1850-1950, will be held at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets can be purchased for $5 through the Office of Alumni Relationsā€™ pre-registration: .
  • Band-O-Rama. If youā€™re still around on Sunday, join the 91Ö±²„Marching Band for a performance showcasing musical selections from their fall programs. The concert will be held at 4 p.m. in Biggs Theatre. Regular-priced seats are $10. For tickets, visit the Freed Center webpage.
